A Casual Day and Outfit in Davidson

My favorite place in North Carolina is Davidson. It’s this small, quaint town that tricks my brain into thinking that the rest of world is like it. The brick buildings and sidewalks add to the feeling that you’re transported back into simpler times (before smart phones and the inter-webs…although there is wifi in Davidson, which is always good). There are a myriad of little unique shops and eateries. Today, I went for a shorter trip to Davidson since there was a St. Patrick’s Day marathon going on (ugh exercise, just kidding. Exercise is your friend. It’s not mine though, we have a bad history with each other). photo 2 photo 1 I ate at my favorite place in Davidson, The Pickled Peach (expect a blog post on it soon!). I wore a casual outfit with my usual use of dark colors. Also, I tried to do something different with the weird mane on top of my head. I left the house quickly, so I took a clip, threw my head around and came up with this hairstyle (if you can even call it that). photo (2) I threw on my beloved flannel shirt and my disco pants. Yes. These shiny, stretchy pants are called “disco pants.” (I’m cool and hip now, right?) photo 1 (1) photo photo 3 Ooo so artsy…
