The Pickled Peach: Handcrafted Foods

The Pickled Peach is my favorite place to eat in Davidson. It’s the perfect place to have either one of their signature soups or sandwiches and a spicy ginger ale. Not the sugar bomb ginger ale in a can, but the ginger ale that contains actual ginger in a fancy glass bottle. Who knew ginger ale actually contains real ginger?! Wow.

What’s great about this place is that they serve healthy foods (that taste amazing), and they use the best quality, all local ingredients. They also have a great range of vegan/vegetarian foods and baked goods (all the yums included). Plus this place has an enclosed outdoor patio area so you can eat and stare off into the the outdoorsy distance.

I always get either the braised beef sandwich (sandwich heaven, if there even is such a thing as great as that) or soup. If you go and they have the french lentil bacon soup, get it! Also, the coconut chew cookie and any of the bread puddings are worth getting if you want something sweet and dessert-y (because that’s a proper adjective).
