Hey friends! Fall has officially arrived! Time for cozy sweaters, dark lipsticks and overpriced pumpkin-y things. I usually wear dark clothing and makeup anyway to achieve the perfect “stay away from me, I’m actually a witch” vibe. Now that the fall season is here and the witch/vampy looks are here, I can finally have some peace. Here are some wicked cool things for the start of fall!
1) Red lipstick
I’ve recently begun to venture into wearing darker shades of lipsticks, and I started with classic red. I’ve been wearing (sloppily applying really) the shade Rouge Sinner by Lipstick Queen. Honestly, it was mostly because I liked the name Rouge Sinner. Priorities.
2) Daniela Andrade
I forget how I found Daniela Andrade, but it’s good that I did because I really like her voice. Her style of music is that instrumental indie type of sound. Listen to me becoming a hipster right in front of your computer screens…send help. But seriously, you should check out her amazing YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/DanielaSings
This website is basically just a realistic recording of calming rain sounds. As simple as I put that, I really like this for when I’m working and I get distracted by my actual music. Rainymood.com is the background noise of all background noises.
4) Dark autumnal lipstick
I am aware that I have talked about one lip product already, but screw it. I’ve been wearing two dark, vampy shades. Both are from MAC in shades Diva and Media. Diva is matte in deep burgundy and Media has a satin finish (ooo, fancy?) and is more of a dark plummy color. Don’t let my makeup vocabulary fool you, I will never be a beauty guru. I’m a guru in looking put together without actually being “put together”.
5) Grav3yard Girl on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/grav3yardgirl)
One of my favorite YouTubers at the moment is Bunny from her channel Grav3yard Girl. She’s a beauty guru/awesome person with a twist of unique hilariousness. “Become a member of the Swamp Family and give an alligator it’s wings!” as Bunny would say.
