The Flying Fish Café

Hey friends! Last year, I went to The Flying Fish Café at Disney’s Boardwalk. Many people think Disney is just a series of parks accompanied by screaming children, but there are a multitude of entertaining places around the property like Downtown Disney and the even lesser known Boardwalk. It’s actually part of the Boardwalk Inn; complete with chandeliers, nicely patterned carpeting, and all that intimidating fanciness. It’s the type of fancy where business companies meet to chat about how great they are. But I’ve only walked past it, so what do I really know about business meetings?

The food is both nice to look at and especially to eat. However, I’m not gonna lie. The price was pretty steep, and I think this restaurant was a one time treat. I’d rather go to Raglan Road in Downtown Disney for a more relaxed feel, but equally great food next time I’m in Florida.

That being said, from what I remember last year, my favorite dish I ate was the appetizer. It was a fried California roll with tuna tartare on top. So freaking good, but I wish there was more of them on the plate. That always seems to be the problem with me.
